Brian & Mindy @ the Hibos...

First let me say WOW, what a great night. I really am not sure we have had that much fun there since probably Bob Hurst & The Bogside Rogues played. However for me It was a bit more fun since a lot of my friends who usually never come to the club showed up and we had a blast. Early in the evening I was a bit worried, as Brian & Mindy arrived there where only 20 or so folks down there waiting for them to play. After they got into the first set, the flood gates opened and the bar filled up a bit. I got real good and Brian & Mindy completely lit it up. I was hoping everyone would really like them and I was right they did. I got like 10 people asking me where they are from and how can we get them back.

NO FEAR HIBOS Patron's... I have already spoken to them about a regular gig and I think they are interested. The Best part of the night was actually after they finished playing, Brian & Mindy hung out and got a bit tipsy with the rest of us. Weird thing I actually drove Ron home on a Friday Night. WOW, how different is that. Obviously I can drink Red bull & Vodka, however I wouldn't recommend it as I was totally feeling it the next morning. OH MY GOD My Head Still Hurts. I will see if we have any Pics of the Occasion and Post them.

In the End Great Night of Acoustic Rock at the Hibos! Who says it always has to be Irish Music, Oh that's right, it was me. I'm actually coming around again, maybe I will try to book Me First & the Gimme Gimme's next.... WHO KNOWS. HA HA HA HA HA

2007 Bristol AOH Irish Festival...

How Bout them Fightin' Phillies...

The last time the Phillies where in the playoffs, I was a freshmen in High School. Wow, its been 14 Years already. So many things have happened, in Philadelphia. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is how much this town has turned into an Eagles only town. Which really bothers me. It seems as though many folks are front runners and only are a fan of a team when they are on top. Honestly, a huge pet peeve of mine.

Trying not to focus on the negatives, Its October in Philly and the Fightin's are in the playoffs. I am so excited since its been so long of a wait for meaningful October baseball in this town. With that said, I am not going o focus on Pet Peeves, or how our starting rotation managed to get here, or how Uncle Charlie still doesn't fully understand the double switch. I am going to Focus on Baseball in October in Philadelphia. I also truly believe with the NL being as weak as it is, I am calling for a Phillies appearance in the World Series. How Sweet would that be, this whole city would over night, transform from screaming E_A_G_L_E_S EAGLES, to what P_H_I_L_L_I_E_S PHILLIES. God I hope not. But It will be nice to watch a game on TV and not hear Eagles Chants in the Ball Park.

Go get'em Guys. I wish you the Best, & in closing I think you may have destiny on your side upstairs with the Big Guy, its Spelled VUK. I know he would be so proud of the way this team has come together.
