let me start off by saying hello to everyone, I know its been awhile, but I am now just getting time to record these events, since the last 2 weeks of my life have been hell.
Chapter 1: The Settlement (Possible Rant Status)
What is it about real estate agents? Well to me its alot like the drive through, You know the drive through, "ALA Joe Pesci Lethal Weapon Movies". Well it's also true about settlement, "They F@$k You at the Settlement table." Why is it the realtor, or the mortgage company cannot give you an accurate cost for settlement? this is really rediculous. I called both parties the day before settlement and they both had differnt numbers both were completely off the mark. I had to physically get up from the settlement with my wife and go get another certified check for another thousand dollars, because the mortgage company & realtor both way undershot me. I would have been 2000 short but i padded there numbers by 1000 Dollars. Tell me why? I cannot believe they cannot get together and come up with a price beforehand. Its freakin rediculous.
Chapter 2: The Painting
I hate Painting, I hate it I hate it I hate it. Ok now with that in mind We decided to paint the Nursery & My Office. It wasn't horrible, but it wasnt a walk in the park either. As I stated, I hate painting. Oh well it had to be done, Special thanks goes out to my man Ron G without him I would have given up and left the rooms there original colors, Nursery (Yellow) & Office (Purple). Thank God for Best Friends.....
Chapter 3: The Move
Now this went down like no other move i have ever heard about. To all those that helped, Hows that Pneumonia doin' ? It was Saturday October 8th, I had planned to move this day and had already procured a Uhual truck for this date. Well when it came as you may remember it was raining, pouring, or Monsooning. whichever you prefer, there was also a real nice chill in the air. Well The truck was rented and paid for coffee and donuts were bought, and friends were there. We decided to press on.
During this monsoon we packed up the entire contents of the townhouse starting around 11am & finishing around 6pm. Angela & I's whole life crammed into a 26'ft U-Haul, How pathetic. The situation sucked but we headed over to the new house. When we arrived we were greeted with burnt hamburgers and some funky hotdogs which everyone scarfed down like it was our last meal. oh the joys of gross food when you are starving.
We actually managed to get the whole truck unloaded that night which was absolutely amazing. Fron then on I knew i was gonna be living from boxes for a while. which we actually still kinda are. Oh well.
Chapter 4: Unpacking ... Still...
This point of the story is silly I mean its been almost a month since the move and we are still dodging boxes. Well I guess I gotta get back to work on this stuff and Git Ur' Dun. The imporant thing is we are in and the Baby's Nursery is just about finished. Crib & Dresser bught and picked up, now I just gotts assemble it all. I know how much fun that is gonna be. But me a screw gun and few Smithwick's will get it accomplished. I Hope.
Pictures Are Coming I promise. I have to find the charger for my battery so I can take some pics with Digi....
